What change can we create in the world?

A lot.

Sometimes in our busy lives we limit ourselves to the little bubble that occupies our work, friends and family. But there is so much more.
Sometimes it takes a wake up call like I had last spring break. I volunteered with homeless families in Florida for a week and had one of the best times of my life. It is amazing what a little bit of time volunteering or a little bit of money spent for good can do for the people around you.

Think poverty isn’t an issue in America? Thirty-seven million Americans are living below the poverty line. There are over 3 billion impoverished people in the world. And there is so much you and I can do. Today, everyday.

Volunteer at a food bank that needs your help.

Donate. Even a little.

Volunteer with your local Big Brother/ Big Sister Organization.

Today is Blog Action Day. Let’s get up and make a change… or give up some change.
