You Think You Know But You Have No Idea

August 14, 2008

This is the diary of Aida Fazlic – LBN Blogger.

Thursday, August 14.

OH SH*T! I’m supposed to post. What could I possibly write about now?! CRAAP.

Who hasn’t been there? Living in utter oblivion until your Google calendar, cell phone, friend or co-worker reminds you to come back to reality and write something witty, inspirational, fresh and comment-worthy – not as easy as it seems. And although it doesn’t involve a celebrity status, piles of money or camera crews – the life of a blogger can be pretty stressful.

My usual stress? Finding a topic. I check my Google reader, stay up-to-date with current events and try to pick relatable subjects from daily life, but sometimes, and more so lately than before, I just can’t seem to find something brilliant and ‘Eureka’ -esque to fit the mold of a great blog post.

Where does the inspiration to blog come from? That is the major source of my problem. Is is because I want to have a public voice in this world of overwhelming messages?

Perhaps.

I don’t have bullet points to give, or any substanial advice. But that shouldn’t measure up the quality of the blogger.

Until then, if all else fails, I can at least write about having nothing to write about.
